CONFIDENTIALITY PROCEDURES
A. The
Executive Director and the Program Director ensure that confidentiality is
maintained for all children/families. (7/97)

All
children’s records are filed in a locked file cabinet located at each Center.

Home
Base children’s records are filed in the Head Start office in each county.

The children’s records
will not be left out of the file cabinet while staff is not present in the
office.

Parents have access to their child’s records upon request.

Records will not be released to any agency or person without the
written
permission from the parent or guardian of the child.
B.
Confidentiality regarding client and staff information is of great importance.
All staff shall follow ATCAA Personnel Policies and Procedures regarding
confidentiality and shall sign ATCAA's "Confidentiality and Ethics Statement,
which will be placed in their personnel files.
